Double room for rent in a 2 bedroom terraced house in Higham/Rochester area. 10 minutes walk to Higham train station to catch the high speed train into London. Convenient to bus stops and to the historic city of Rochester. The M25 and M2 are close by for easy motorway access. Clean and quiet area with loads of walking trails. Use of garden and patio/terrace as well as kitchen, shared bath, and lounge. I have a small, friendly Miniature Goldendoodle and can accept a tenant who has a small, friendly dog or a dog-friendly cat. I’m willing to also trade dog and/or cat sitting services with a tenant who has pets. I work from home 3-4 days a week, but frequently,work in the office area in my room or in the lounge. I’m friendly, kind, open-minded, accepting, and willing to be friends with a roommate, although don’t expect to live in each other’s pockets. I am willing to accept a nice couple (M/M; M/F; F/F). LGBTQ and Trans person friendly. If you’re a couple, we need to discuss a bit more equitable rent and utilities split, perhaps 1/3 each with more people in the house comes more utility costs. You are responsible for your own council tax. You must also pass a background check for the letting agent, prove income for at least 3 months. I can also accept several months rent payment in advance. Minimum 6 months but 12 months’ lease preferred. If you wish only 6 months rent, then I would need rent paid up front but you can pay utilities monthly.
