Room for rent in
London
E9 7AD
A room to let near Hackney London E9
Hi there,
Thanks for reading – please read through and get in touch if you think the place might suit.
I have a double room to rent (for single occupancy)in a two bed flat.
The room will be unfurnished but I can leave a few bits and pieces in the room if you don’t have any furniture.
There is an almost new bed and mattress which my ex flatmate will do a deal on.
The length of the tenancy is yearly. Short lets not considered as I hope to find someone who would commit to a decent length of time.
The flat is situated between London fields and Victoria park – in a great area in east London. Its pretty quiet but also near parks, Lido, cafes, bakeries etc. And well connected for public transport.
The room is in a friendly neighbourhood.
There is a shared kitchen, bathroom.
Also an outside mezzanine.
I’m an artist also working part/time in childcare – I’m about to begin an p/t art therapy ma. I work a little from home and also spend some time at my son’s (i coparent) I’m originally from the west of Ireland but have lived in Hackney for many years having been involved in food and the arts here also.
I’m in my mid 50’s. My interests are music, art, reading, yoga, meditation, food. I’m friendly, thoughtful, sensitive with a sense of humour. Like a chat and happy with my own company too.
I’m pretty busy and self motivated but happy to share a cuppa or some food at times.
I eat pretty healthily, mostly vegetarian. And keen on recycling and environmental matters.
I like to keep the flat tidy and try and put as much love into the space as possible.
I would prefer someone who doesn’t work from home mostly as I don’t think working too much from home is good for anybody.
I think the arrangement would suit someone respectful and considerate
someone who would like to consider it a shared home and therefore happy to put a little effort into a shared space.
Just to clarify re bills – Its 800 a month plus council tax/utilities.
Also the agent who manages the flat will need to see proof that you have the right to live/work in the UK and earn at least 30k a year.
Thanks for reading.
