Double room in a beautiful 3 bed semi detached property – the room is very spacious with fitted wardrobes – and I am offering a room in my home. The room to rent has good size chest of drawers, bed side tables, TV and a comfortable double bed. The property is in Norbury near very good transport links to the surrounding areas as well as to the city; there are also good local amenities.

I’d prefer to have a female, possibly professional, as a housemate. I am retired (senior social worker) and my children live elsewhere. I am a Christian and do a lot voluntary work in my local church. I’d respect my housemate’s privacy and would like them to respect mine, but would also like to socialise from time to time; a cup of tea, or maybe even a meal now and then.

My children are grown up and come to visit and I’d expect the same for my housemate. It will be my first time sharing. The kitchen can be shared and as we have two lounges, then there is a chance to socialse together or to use the second reception room to relax on their own, as required. So you don’t need to spend all of your time in your room. There is also a garden, but it needs some work.

I don’t mind people who work from home sometimes, but prefer not all of the time. Bills are included.
