This is a 1960’s detached house and the en suite room on offer is a generous size, equipped with a double bed (no overnight guests please) and a whole wall range of wardrobe / cupboard space. In addition there is a large chest of drawers and a colour television. There is a cupboard off the room with your own washing machine and small (but not mini) brand new fridge.
I have just had the land cleared at the front of the house and a new driveway made with space for two cars.
Short walk to large Tesco with Costa and a bureau de change, also the lovely Malabar café moments away, as well as Riverhead Library, butchers, hairdressers and barbers shops, takeaway outlets and a couple of convenience shops, so no car required for day to day living. If you enjoy walking, there are lovely footpath walks nearby without the need for a car. Sevenoaks Station is a 25 minute walk and Dunton Green is less.
The M25 and A 21 are only a mile distant.
There is a railway line at the back of the house which runs along at a height, beyond a bank of trees.
A little about me: I have had lodgers, usually short-term, i.e. six months or less for some years and supply a Lodger’s Agreement which gives an idea of expectations, but the most important thing to me is just the basic elements most folk agree with – honesty, respect and to be communicative – two-way.
I regard myself as friendly and am a part-time office worker in Sevenoaks. I am a member of the National Trust, enjoy travel, walking, cinema, cooking and spending time with family and friends. I am originally from the north-east but spent all my working life in London, overseas and the south/south-east.
