I’m looking for someone friendly & sociable, easy-going and tidy to rent my large, ensuite double bedroom in the two-bedroomed flat that I own and also live in.
Full week or Mon-Fri rentals considered.

The large room comprises a double bed (with ample under-bed drawers/storage), a very large double wardrobe, bedside cabinet, set of drawers, a desk/chair, a wall-mounted 32’’ HD Smart TV and a lovely ensuite comprising shower, toilet, washbasin and cupboard, 2 wall-cabinets and towel racks.
ABOUT THE FLAT:
The flat is on the top/third floor of the lovely Galleons View apartment complex on the river – an attractive, secure, modern development, 10 mins walk into Canary Wharf and close to bus stops, DLR stops, jubilee line and Thames clipper boat. Supermarkets, parks, gyms, pubs, bars, cinema all close by.
The flat has a south-facing balcony with chairs, coffee tables and partial river views. It is modern and homely with gas central heating. The kitchen includes a washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, electric oven/gas job, microwave, toaster, nutri-bullet and coffee-machine. It has a separate lounge/diner, high quality comfortable sofa (converts to double sofa bed), two comfortable chairs and coffee table, wall-mounted 43’’ HD SmartTV.
We have access to a lovely long communal gardened patio area overlooking the river and 02. It is hardly used, even in the summer and it’s a perfect sun spot!
It has a secure bike shed and a gated car park with own parking space and use of ample visitors’ spaces.
COSTS
Rent is £1100 per calendar month inclusive of all utility bills (council tax, water, electricity, gas, phone line, high-speed broadband).
A security deposit of the equivalent of one month’s rent / £1100 is payable up-front and the first month’s rent is payable by the contract start date date.
ABOUT ME!
I’m very easy-going, sociable, tidy, fun, positive and very easy to live with.
I enjoy a glass of wine, film and a chat, and I love walks and cycles along the Thames River Path. I enjoy a game of tennis too (courts 5 minutes walk away in the local park!).
I work as a Project Manager in a marketing communications agency in central London (currently working from home) and I’m also a life coach in my spare time.
MORE ABOUT THE LOCATION:
There are a wide range of fantastic fast transport links into central London. There are bus stops opposite the flat covering all routes, It’s a 6-7 minute walk to South Quay and Crossharbour DLR stations, a 11-12 minute walk to Canary Wharf tube station on the Jubilee Line, a 15 min walk to Blackwall DLR and a 20-25 minute walk to Canary Wharf pier for the Thames Clipper fast commuter boat. The Thames path runs alongside the apartment block and it’s only a 20-30 minute walk along the river to the Island Gardens park where you can take the DLR 1 stop or walk through the Thames foot tunnel, to Greenwich. Alternatively, Crossharbour and South Quay DLR (6-7 mins away) only takes 10 mins to Greenwich and 20 minutes to Bank.
Parks, supermarkets, medical centres, cafes, bars, pubs, gyms, cinemas and shops are all within walking distance from the flat. There’s a Tesco metro right opposite the flat and a large Asda and Waitrose 10-12 mins walk away.
