I have just refurbished my spare double loft bedroom with en-suite and looking for a more mature house mate.
About the room & house:
The available room (Rm 1) is approx 10 sq meters with double bed, bedside chest, wardrobe table, chair and table. En-suite bathroom is newly refurbished Just waiting for new carpet so room will be available by end of November.
Room 2 (currently occupied) is first floor, overlooks the garden, is bright & a good size ( approx 15 sq meters ) with built in wardrobe & mirror, double bed, chair, bedside chest, vertical black out blinds. The room has an en-suite shower room.
I’ve an extended kitchen and dining room with plenty of cupboard storage, two fridges, 2 ovens, microwave, washing machine, etc.
About the area:
There is good access to central London and surrounding south London areas as we’re 5 minutes walk to Streatham Hill Station with short journey times to Clapham, Victoria & London Bridge. The nearest tube stations are Balham & Brixton; the Telford Avenue bus garage is round the corner offering numerous bus routes.
Streatham High Street has all the usual local amenities and is a short walk around the corner – banks, shops, cafes, cinema, gym, parks / commons etc.
About you:
This opportunity would ideally suit a quiet, mature and easy going person, who is clean, tidy and respectful of their surroundings / home. And sorry – non smokers only please.
I may consider a ‘part week’ or shorter term arrangement if more appropriate for your situation.
About Me:
I work as a part time project consultant. I live a fairly quiet life and although I do like to go out (theater, wine bars, live music shows etc,) I rarely do late nights and often prefer a glass of wine (or two…) whilst listening to the radio or watching something on catch up TV.
I like to keep active – yoga, gym, tennis, exploring, riding etc.. I’m occasionally away at weekends either for work / pleasure. I hope to do some travelling in the future .
I enjoy gardening when I have the time or the plants need some ‘help’
Please do note the profile & ad requirements before responding or at least make the effort to explain why you feel you’d make a suitable lodger /housemate.
