The elegant and romantic ‘Rose Room’ is on the first floor of a beautiful Victorian family home built in 1873 overlooking Castlerock Golf course and Portstewart Bay with the railway station, Golf Club, beach, shops and places to eat and drink all within walking distance in only a couple of minutes.

This room has a king-sized brass bed and there is also a two-seater bed settee, There is plenty of storage space with two wardrobes and a chest of drawers. There is a desk for writing your memoirs. It has a south facing window where the hills can be seen on the horizon and Downhill Hill Castle to the right. It also has three bay windows with an uninterrupted view over the greens of Castlerock Golf Club and Portstewart Bay.

It is a large room with a sleeping area and a sitting area. The room has wi-fi; internet tv including the use of Netflix. There is a DVD player too and access to DVDs if you run out of things to watch on Netflix. There is a toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge and a unit containing some plates, cups, cutlery etc.

You have your own private bathroom which adjoins the room with Victorian bath and shower, and marble topped vanity unit and toilet. The shower was replaced 6 months ago when a high-pressure water system was installed.

There is use of the washing machine downstairs.

This house is home to Mum and her 3 young adults. There is also a large black dog (Boxer/labrador cross). He is very friendly but he does bark so if you are not a dog fan then this is not the home for you
