I’d like to offer a light filled and spacious room in my apartment. I live alone, so there would be just the two of us. The room is furnished (including bed linen and towels if required). In addition, there’s a large sitting/dining room and a sunny balcony filled with plants to enjoy. The flat is equipped with all mod cons – the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I have two large fridges in the kitchen, so we could have one each 🙂
There is a concierge on site 24/7 and a bike storage in the block.
Please note that there is NO parking available at the property.
Pets – unfortunately not allowed due to my lease conditions.
WHY LIVE HERE
Location – it is so close to the heart of London, the Jubilee Line gets you quickly to Canary Wharf, Westminster and Bond Street, connects to important hubs, Crossrail and the airport trains. And yet, when I return back from the busy city, I come out of the tube and onto the river walk – I feel the space, fresh breeze and I’m happy to be home, just out of the main hustle.
Amenities – everything you need is actually on the doorstep. Shops, entertainment, medical facilities, outdoor spaces – it’s all there, within a walk or a short public transport ride. You really do not need a car here.
The apartment itself is modern, spacious and clean. You would feel secure and comfortable. I enjoy watching the sunset with a cup of tea on the balcony.
And last but not least – there’s only 1 person to share everything with!
ABOUT YOU
A professional over 40, non-smoker, quiet and clean. Someone who likes plants and would be happy to look after them during the periods when I’m away. It may be best if your job is not home based. As I myself WFH full time, this could get a bit awkward for both of us, if we had to share space 24/7.
Ideally you are looking for long term accommodation, but I would consider temporary (few month) depending on dates and circumstances.
ABOUT ME
I’m 43, a professional accountant. I enjoy peace and quiet, gym, yoga, meditation, jazz and coffee. I think of myself as a curious citizen of the world (love travelling!), who enjoys exploring places, be that abroad or around the corner.
I keep mostly to myself but I do like a chat or drink/meal together or with a group of close friends. If you are up for a theatre trip or long walk, that would be great. If not – fine too.
I’m easygoing in general, but I do have things I cannot cope with. I like my place clean, so mess is a no-no. Loud voices, parties or TV/music on 24/7 are also the big turn offs for me.
I think It’s important that we get on, so that it feels like home for both of us.

The property is in Greenwich Peninsula, in a new residential neighbourhood next to the river and the Greenwich Yacht Club. The apartment block is actually right next to the Thames Path, the green spaces of Millennium, Southern and Ecology parks for running, cycling and walking. It’s perfect for anyone working in Canary Wharf – only one tube stop away! Greenwich Park and the old town (Cutty Sark) can be reached by foot or the short bus ride.
TRANSPORT
Buses – 5 minutes walk, 7 bus routes.
Tube – 15-20 minutes walk to North Greenwich station (Jubilee line zone 2/3).
It takes less than 20 minutes to Bond Street!
Uber Boats – 15-20 minutes walk with routes to Waterloo, Battersea and Woolwich.
Train – 20 minutes walk to Westcombe Park with trains to London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon, St. Pancras, Cannon Street and Kent.
Crossrail – a brand new fast train line with direct link across central London and Heathrow – connection via Canary Wharf, opening on 24 May 2022.
