I’m a cheerful, friendly museum librarian/curator, hoping to find a flat mate who is independent, but also enjoys a chat while cooking, or over a cup of tea, or a glass of wine.
The flat is comfortable and clean: it has a shared dining room/lounge and a shared study/guest room (where friends and family are welcome to stay – on a comfy sofa bed – for a wee while). The bath/shower is shared. The kitchen has all the necessities, including a washing machine, although not a dishwasher or clothes dryer. There is also a fire-escape with a view of the Shard – great for enjoying a morning cuppa in summer.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, lots of shelving and a hanging rail, a large cabinet, a comfy chair and table, a bookshelf and an old-fashioned school desk.
The flat is opposite a lovely park, midway between Camberwell and Brixton shops, and 10 minutes bus from Oval/15 minutes from Vauxhall.
Before I moved to London I lived in Glasgow, Bath, Wellington (New Zealand), Cape Town and some other places, and I love travelling. Over the last few years I’ve really enjoyed sharing the flat with people from all over the world, so I am open to short-term contract professionals, interns or students wanting a 6-9 month let, as well as longer term. I work very long hours in the week, but am at home most weekends.
I have a very affectionate house cat – but your bedroom door locks if you need some peace!
