Barnsley room in family house
Housemate wanted to join us sharing a large family house, close to town centre (10 mins on foot), hospital (5 mins), station etc. in good location in old Town near Wilthorpe. The room is spacious and newly decorated with a king size bed, wardrobe, desk and piano. The house is large and light, and has just recently been rewired, and as a result newly decorated throughout. It has loads of character and many of the original features.
Shared areas include the kitchen, and two sitting rooms. We have plenty of room for barbecues, sitting out and possibly growing some veg. this year!
All bills, including cleaning of communal parts of the house included. Use of washing machine, broadband.
Must like cats.
We are used to sharing – and have had lodgers since 2005. We are currently hosting a “workaway” student from Italy, and plan to continue to do so (check my profile out on workaway) as it seems to me to create a fun, harmonious, forward looking and international feel, which I love.
NB another room – a particularly spacious one, more like a bed-sitting room is coming up in a few weeks as our current house sharer is leaving. If this suits better than the one described, thats fine.
