Hi, I am Shirin and I’m an Academic teaching sociology at University. I am married to Mukhtar Dar who is a Director of Arts. We are parents of two boys age 24 and 27, both have left home and study away but sometimes return at the weekends. This has left our home rather quiet. We miss the buzz of family life and because of this we would love to open our home with like-minded people. We have hosted for over ten years and are very familiar and are warmed by welcoming students and others into our home. We welcome communities from varied backgrounds.
We are offering an arts and crafts home , with a lot of ethnic rugs and masks and our artefacts from our travels . Our home is comfortable and we look forward to sharing the communal spaces. The tenancy is for one double room fully furnished on the top/attic floor. The second room has now been taken by a couple from Bulgaria young couple who are very quite and in their final year of study. You will have access to a modern shower room shared by the couple.
