Comfy double room in large 1920s family home on the Wells Road. We have a garden and parking. Garage for bike storage etc. Large kitchen, separate utility room, living room and conservatory. Room currently has double bed with good mattress, single wardrobe, chest of drawers, small desk and chair. Happy to provide larger desk and/or armchair if wanted or there is space for a little furniture of your own if preferred.

It is walkable to Temple Meads (1.2 miles, 25 mins) / Broadmead (2 miles , 40 mins) – uphill on the way home! Bus routes 2, 92 and 376 go past the door. We’re on the main road so there is some traffic noise – not too bad but not suitable if you will be bothered by that.

We are parents (early 50s) and kids (15, 13). Friendly, busy household. You would share bath/shower room with 13 y/o daughter. Elder child non-binary so need to be comfortable with that. We are a lawyer and a clergyman (works for the Church of England but does not have his own church). Older child interested in music, drama, fencing, D&D, politics. Younger is dancer (mainly ballet, hoping to be professional) and also interested in music and reading. When not running round after kids adults are into music, theatre, archaeology, reading, walking, socialising and eating out. Sometimes we’re happy to be sociable, sometimes we are working late.
