Great location. On a main road so feels very safe but surprisingly peaceful. Corner shop over the road, but at night you can hear a tawny owl in the trees out the back. Bus stops right outside ( nos. 207/320, N199). Fifteen minutes walk to Shortlands, Bromley South or Ravensbourne stations. Ten minutes walk to Bromley shops and Picturehouse cinema. Or if like me you like outdoor swimming, its a 15 minute walk down the back roads to Beckenham Place Park with its swimming lake (and wild garlic in season!)
No onsite parking but plenty of free parking in surrounding streets. You’re welcome to keep a bicycle in the back garden.

The back looks out onto the garden which you’re welcome to share. I have a much loved old tabby cat whom you can choose to adore or ignore though she’ll love to come in if you let her. She’s deaf so she miaows a lot.
I work in healthcare and home is my refuge, so I’m not looking for a lodger who parties or plays loud music at all hours. But I’m friendly and approachable so I would enjoy catching up with you after a day at work if it suited us both.
This space is part of my house and isn’t separately supplied or metered for mains services, so the rent includes all your bills including council tax, wifi, TV licence. The property’s meters, fuse-board and water stopcock are in your living area so occasionally I’ll need access ( obviously at a time agreed unless there’s a flood in which case you’d want me to turn off the stopcock! ) No separate front door; entry is through main house porch or via a door off the passage at back of main house.
