We are married couple in our early (but approaching mid!) 50s with a large ensuite furnished bedroom to let. Shared kitchen and use of family room (sofa / tv), dining room, garden, driveway. Own fridge/freezer and kitchen cupboard space provided, use of washing machine and tumble drier. The room is east facing, with 2 windows and built in wardrobes.
Our home is 8 minutes walk to a large supermarket and 17 minutes walk into Calne town centre. We have good walks near us, including being close to High Penn nature reserve. Bus stop (55 bus which goes from Chippenham to Swindon) at the end of the road.
We both work from home therefore require a housemate who will respect this. Bills included, subject to reasonable use. Our house has solar panels and batteries, so we will explain how to use these to ensure electricity bills remain as low as possible. You will be expected to keep your own room and ensuite clean, as well as help with the cleaning of communal areas…. hopefully this is obvious!
We have one elderly rabbit who lives in luxury in his own shed and outdoor pen.
No smokers or vapers.
