I’m a friendly, mature, 47 year old professional female offering a huge, stunning, fully furnished double bedroom within a massive, calm, traditional flat located within gorgeous Dennistoun, just 10 minutes from the City Centre / Merchant City / University of Strathclyde, Caledonian University and Princess Royal Maternity. The room is available to a considerate, non-smoking, warm individual.
The bedroom is fully furnished to a high standard, including a queen-size bed with new mattress and bedding, bedside table and lamp, huge wardrobe with ample storage space, desk and chair, chest of drawers and sideboard.
The dining kitchen is fully furnished too, including washing machine and microwave with ample cooking and dining equipment provided, while the bathroom is also guaranteed to impress, with not only a separate quadrant shower but a stunning, freestanding roll-top bath; a joy to relax back into after a hard night’s studying/work!
The flat has central heating, newly fitted, interlinked fire alarms and heat detectors, warm grey carpets and a fresh white and grey decor. Also in place is security entry and a beautiful walled back garden. Being in Dennistoun, so close to the City Centre, there are great transport links to everywhere! Buses to George Square and Queen Street train station and town / West End etc run every few minutes from just across the road. Bellgrove train station is 2 minutes walk away. If you drive then the M8 is just a few minutes away and parking outside the flat is free.
Ample cafes, eateries, shops and supermarkets are within easy walking distance, as are the lovely Glasgow Green and Alexandria Parade Park.
This flat-share opportunity is quite unique and not to be missed in that this huge property is over 2 levels, so I will be living downstairs as resident landlord, with my well behaved child, and you’ll effectively be in your own space upstairs with your own kitchen and bathroom, sharing with just one other; a quiet, friendly, mature professional female, working as a life coach! I am looking to share this beautiful property with a focused, like-minded, non-smoking, friendly, work-focused individual who is both reliable and considerate of other people’s needs.
I work hard within teaching, am up and out over half the week, juggle a lot and value my peace and sleep, frequently having to study at night after my day’s work and, as such, am looking to share this property with similarly considerate, focused, busy individuals seeking a lovely, calm base from which to live, study and rest. In addition, once my little one is tucked up in bed come 8pm, I’m keen to keep the house peaceful, for obvious reasons, to enjoy a lovely full night’s sleep! To highlight the point, this isn’t a party flat. My resident landlord status permits just two others to inhabit the property alongside me at any one time therefore having partners/pals over to stay is therefore not possible, thanks.
The rent is £585pcm plus your one third share of the set gas and electricity bill, being currently £128 per month each. Already included within the rent is unlimited, wireless broadband, water charges, TV license, council tax share and ground maintenance so no further monies are due each month.
The room is available from Sat 26th July 2025, date of entry and length of stay are negotiable, with 1 year being the norm and 6 months being the preferred minimum stay. £400 as refundable deposit would be due upon signing the contract and references will be sought.
