We’re a family of four – my partner and I, and our two young daughters aged three and six. We live in central Harrow, HA1. We’re both professionals in the charity and software sectors. We mostly work from home, with my partner going into the office 2-3 days a week.

We have a colourful, modern 5 bed house that we bought as a dump and renovated – it has a large kitchen-diner-lounge space, utility room (washer & dryer if you need), separate lounge, and lovely long garden (we love feeding the many species of birds that visit), so there’s always somewhere to find some peace. The room we have available is in our second floor loft-conversion, a lovely big double room with an ensuite shower room which would be private for you. Our office is also on that floor but we only use it in the daytimes.

Great connections into central London from the house. We’re a 10 minute walk from Harrow-on-the-Hill station (Metropolitan line and Chiltern Line) and 12-15 min walk to Harrow & Wealdstone (Overground and mainline into Euston), next to a beautiful big park (Harrow Rec), awesome climbing wall (HarroWall) and near Morrisons and Tesco’s.

We’ve had a weekday lodger before and enjoyed it. We’re very relaxed and sociable people, who are up for a chat but who are also happy to let people get on with their own thing. Our girls are totally mad (like most kids of their ages) but also super sweet. They love reading, cycling, learning about the world and are good at listening – they’re good company and are open to new people.
