DESCRIPTION
This listing is for a cabin with a built-in bed (somewhere between single and double size) in a 2006 Dutch barge on a permanent mooring in Limehouse Marina. There is a private bathroom with a roll-top bath and a shower over, but it’s not ensuite.
Living on a boat is not the same as living in a flat and requires a practical nature…water tanks need filling and waste tanks need (occasional) emptying. There isn’t massive storage space, so wouldn’t suit someone with their own furniture or masses of stuff.
I’m doing a bit of refurbishment at the moment…..just decoration, nothing major, so some tolerance of that is required.
I’m a designer/academic (I teach architecture) with a home in Italy where I spend 50% of my time.
