Relaxed and friendly 5-bed house-share with 2 double rooms available. The rooms have lots of natural light. It’s a calm and peaceful home with a huge kitchen with 3 fridge/freezers and other storage space if you enjoy cooking (we do, and happily share meals). There’s a spare room, so guests can stay in comfort, and a large garden with a barbecue and tiered seating areas. The three flatmates are an Italian IT consultant (our wifi is fab!), a writer who speaks French and Italian and a research pharmacist. Two of us partly work from home or from local cafes or West Norwood library/Picturehouse cinema, a 15-minute walk away and we see a film there most weeks. We’re 8 minutes’ walk from Brockwell Park and its Lido, gym, tennis courts and cafes. Nearby Herne Hill train station gets you to Victoria station in 10 minutes. Even closer is Tulse Hill station with fast connections to the City (London Bridge in 20 minutes). There are two bus stops nearby – with buses 2, 415, 432, 196, 201, 322, 68 and 468 to nearby Brixton (12 mins away) and Denmark Hill/Euston.
Flatmates of all ages and lifestyles are welcome. It’s a sociable house with the possibility of shared cooking/meals. But we all respect each others’ space. We all either go to the gym or do yoga a few times a week.
