Looking for a female for lovely Wimbledon house
Hey everyone. Myself and Colette live in a 4 bed house in Wimbledon SW19 and are currently looking for a new person to move in with us from middle/end of October onwards for at least a year with the option of extension as we are renewing the contract in Oct.
The house has 4 bedrooms….so a small single one spare for storage. The location is fab with Wimbledon broadway literally at the end of our road. We have great transport links with the District line tube and overground 5-7 mins walk away at Wimbledon Broadway, the Northern line at South Wimbledon about 10 min walk away, the tramline to get you to Gatwick about 5 mins walk away and buses to Putney, Tooting and Richmond from the high street.
The house is 3 levels, with the kitchen and living/dining area on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor and 2 bedrooms on the top floor. The room available is a double loft conversion room on the top floor. It is part furnished with a double bed and triple wardrobe. The kitchen is large as is the living room dining area. We have a huge back garden perfect for sitting in on summer days.
The room should be available from the middle/end of October as we are renewing the contract on the 25th Oct and hope to have our new person for then.
A little about us….We are two professional girls from Scotland and Ireland aged 38 and 42. We are sociable and love a night in having a giggle and watching trash telly together, but we also like time to ourselves too. We are looking for a like minded roommate who is in our age group 35-45, has a full time job/profession, someone who is clean and tidy and considerate of others and the communal living space, and pulls their weight in a house-share. Someone we can get along with and hang out with. So please email us if you think you’d like to live with us. Sorry but females only, no smokers, no pets and no work from homers as it can disrupt the house flow.
The rent is £800 per month, the bills are on top and equate to £135 ish each per month for energy, council tax, water, Sky TV and broadband. The new flatmate will have to pay their third of the deposit to our leaving flatmate which is £750 as the deposit is already in hold with the estate agents and they will also have to pay £60 for a reference check fee/name change fee to our estate agents.
