**Where I am:
Located in a quiet street with easy access to Norwood Junction station as well as Sainsbury’s and Aldi. Grangewood Park is an easy walk away.
**Room details and environment
You will have a recently decorated double bedroom on the first floor of a detached Victorian house. It faces South-West and has a double window looking out on the front drive. It comes furnished with a double bed and a lovely chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is also a small dressing room with another (modern) chest of drawers.
You will be sharing a large kitchen with your own dedicated storage space. There are the usual appliances (and a TV..). You will also have access to a recently refurbished bathroom (with waterfall shower) as well as the downstairs toilet.
There is a large back garden – a pleasure to sit in after a long day at work.
Rent includes fair use of utilities including broadband.
**Transport connections
Norwood Junction is a 10 minute walk. Great services including Thameslink, Overgound and fast links (@12 minutes) to London Bridge. Numerous and regular buses to Croydon and beyond.
**Who this would suit
It’s a quiet house. If loud music and / or parties are your thing please look elsewhere. Both myself and my current lodger (male) are of mature years and in education. I’m looking for another like-minded person to join us. Desirable qualities: responsible, respectful, considerate, honest and self-sufficient. Someone who can tidy up after themselves – I don’t employ a cleaner. Working in schools, we’re both out early. If you’re musical that’ll be a bonus for you – there’s a piano and it does get played. Non-smoking..
There are no resident pets but my partner brings her very friendly sprocker when she visits.
**Deposits, rent and reference
The usual. A month’s rent for deposit (will be with TDS) and monthly rent to be paid in advance by standing order. You will have an agreement letter. I’m going to need two references; one from your employer and the other from your current landlord.
