Single room in Walthamstow Village
Mature, relaxed woman and 26 year old daughter seek a female lodger for a single room for a limited period of up to one year. I am semi retired and working one to two days per week, so will often be at home, though I am busy with personal projects. My daughter works in a school. We are a friendly but busy, organised and tidy household. Recently, after their long and happy lives, our dogs passed away, so we do not have any pets, but that may change.
The house has recently been refurbished, especially the kitchen, which is bright and modern. There is also a large garden, which you are welcome to use. The house is in the historic Walthamstow Village area, which is very attractive, and well served by shops, restaurants, craft shops and trendy bars. It is a ten minute walk to Walthamstow Central bus and train station, which is on both the underground and overground lines, and there are local busses to/from the station if you are feeling tired. There is also a bike rack where you could lock your bicycle in the covered passageway. The room is bright, with a desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers, in addition to a large single bed and it has reasonable living space for a single room.
We are looking for a woman who is friendly, responsible, easy to get along with and self contained.
