I’m looking for a friendly, respectful lodger for a large double bedroom in my 2-bed seafront flat in Cliftonville, Margate.
Arranging viewings on Jan 11th, 12th & 13th .
The flat is right by the sea, well connected to public transport, and about a 10-minute walk to Margate Old Town. I moved in a month ago and it’s a wonderful spot to live. It’s a calm, homely space and would suit someone who appreciates a peaceful, lived-in home. I work from home so looking for someone who works outside home/hybrid.
🐾 Important: I live here with two cats, so you gotta be a cat lover.
The Room is a large double bedroom
Renting unfurnished just in case you have your own furniture.
I’m happy to provide furniture if required.
Light, quiet, and it’s a good size so you’d have space to work and relax in there.
A friend is staying in the room for a few weeks, the belongings in the pics won’t be there when you move in.
The Flat is a 2-bedroom flat, shared with me (live-in landlord) and it’s on the 5th floor – no lift.
We’re on the seafront.
Shared kitchen – there’s plenty of storage space, good sized fridge
Shared living space and bathroom
Warm, relaxed, and well cared for
All Bills are Included:
Management fees
Council tax
Broadband
TV licence
Electricity
Heating
Water
Location: Cliftonville seafront
There are excellent public transport links and if you like to walk it’s 15/20 minutes to the train station.
Around 10 minutes’ walk to Margate Old Town, shops, cafés and galleries
The Practical Bits:
Rent: £750 per month – all in
Deposit: £750
Lodger agreement (live-in landlord)
Available from mid February – there’s flexibility there if you’d want to move in later in the month.
Deposit and first month’s rent required upfront to secure the room
Who This Would Suit:
I’m looking for someone who is kind, respectful and tidy
Comfortable sharing a home (rather than just renting a room)
Genuinely happy living with cats
Minimum is 3 month let
If this sounds like a good fit, please send a message telling me a little about yourself and your situation, and confirming that you’re happy living in a cat-friendly home.
