I would like to rent out my 3 roomed attic space to a like-minded woman to share my house with myself and one other female lodger.
The 3 roomed attic has velux windows and great views. Please note there is limited headroom so a tall person would find it difficult. There’s a small bedroom with good floor mattress, storage area, sitting room and washroom with loo, basin, dressing table and room for more storage. The bathroom with bath, shower is on the first floor.
The groundfloor lounge is cosy with a woodburner. There’s a dining room area leading onto a good size kitchen with island, double cooker with two electric ovens and 8 gas ring hob, dishwasher and french door to the garden which is not really overlooked despite the property being on the high street. The views across the village and countryside are lovely.
There is a good washing machine and dryer on the first floor and a second washing machine in the annexe.
I am used to living in community – I used to live at Findhorn in the north of Scotland. I love the land, animals, being with friends and meeting people and foodwise am pescarian (not much fish) so it’s a mainly veggie house. I also like walking, exploring, dance, singing, art. I am trained in natural nutrition and allergy therapy but now am changing direction. I was doing Air bnb from my annexe but am using this space myself which frees up more space in the house. I’m a young 68, and for house sharing would be interested in an age group of 45 to 70.
