You would have your own “floor” available in large terraced house. It’s a basement conversion with a double bedroom with large window and natural light, a private bathroom (shower only) and walk-in closet / storage area with own fridge. It has just been freshly decorated and will be furnished with a double bed, desk, chair, rug, bedside table and lamp (unless you request otherwise!). The top floor is my bedroom, bathroom and spare room/ office. The kitchen, dining room, lounge and garden (all pictured here) are shared between us. The basement does not have its own access however so we will also share the front door 🙂
I am a single woman and a mature student and Psychology teacher. I am sociable and friendly but my house is quiet. The house is a 3 min walk to a lovely village with coffee shops, pubs, a launderette, a post-office and a plastic-free shop. It is a 10min walk to the main town with many bars, restaurants, shops, a library etc and the metro straight into Manchester city centre.
Discount can be given if you do not need the place full time (ie you only need the place through the week for example).
