You would have your own floor in large terraced house. It’s a basement conversion with a double bedroom with large window and natural light, a private bathroom (shower only) and walk-in closet / storage area with own fridge and kettle. It is freshly decorated and is furnished with a single bed (double bed on request), desk, chair, sofa, rug, bedside table and lamp. The top floor is my bedroom, bathroom and spare room/ office. The kitchen, dining room, and garden (all pictured here) are shared between us. The basement does not have its own access however so we will also share the front door 🙂
I am a single woman and a therapist and teacher of Psychology. I am sociable and friendly but my house is quiet. I’ve been overseas for the past 16 years and most of my friends / family are not in the UK. I travel quite regularly.
The house is a 3 min walk to a lovely village with coffee shops, pubs, a launderette, a post-office and a plastic-free shop. It is a 10min walk to the main town with many bars, restaurants, shops, a library, cinema etc and the metro straight into Manchester city centre in 20 mins.
Discount can be given if you do not need the place full time (ie you only need the place through the week).
