I live in a beautiful character flat in a Grade II listed building in Little Preston on the edge of Swillington. It’s a picturesque and really quiet spot, next to a bridle-path, overlooking fields. There is a communal lawn and I have one spare private parking space. The flat itself is first floor (no lift), South Facing light and bright. There are 2 double bedrooms, a shared bathroom with shower over the bath, a dressing room and a large lounge / kitchen. Wired Broadband is not great here because of the location, so I have 4G which is data-imited so I can’t include in the rent. You could get your own 4G wifi router like I have and have your own account.
I’m a friendly and relaxed flat-mate. Had a few years off taking lodgers in my old house and some changes to my life, but am now settled in this flat and ready to share again. I have a cocker spaniel to stay one or two nights most weeks (my Mum’s) so you’d have to be OK with that. She’s very friendly and cuddly.
