We have a fully furnished room available in the apartment we rent near the Miracle Mile area. We’re a couple; I’m from NZ and work my business from home; my partner is American (though actually half English) and is an actor/realtor/personal trainer.

The room is spacious and has its own full bathroom (with a shower over the tub). It’s furnished with a queen bed, dressing tables, desk/table, its own small fridge with separate freezer, and smart TV. There is an efficient portable air conditioning unit in the room, and the house has central heating. The room is in an upstairs apartment in a charming Spanish duplex in a great neighborhood, close to freeways and only a mile or two from Beverly Hills and W Hollywood. The apartment is a good size, with its own laundry and a backyard shared with our downstairs neighbors. We don’t have cable, but do have multiple streaming services available on the Smart TV in the room, and Roku there. This is a spacious room, and you’re welcome to share our living & dining rooms, kitchen and backyard areas. In fact, we encourage it!

We live in Carthay Square, an HPOZ with lots of gorgeous 1920s homes and duplexes. The streets are walkable, and there’s a lovely community feel to the area. Carthay Square is ~a mile south of The Grove, a couple of miles to the I10, and close to WeHo, Little Ethiopia and Beverly Hills. While there is no onsite parking, we do have permitted parking on our street (with a permit available) and there is never a problem finding a car park. We are very close to public transport (buses) and 2 miles from the LA rail system.
