SF Valley Room for Rent with Bathroom
Looking for housemate for my 3 bedroom/2 bath house in safe and quiet Sylmar foothills neighborhood. Animal lovers encouraged- prospective housemate must like animals and have no pet allergies. * Opportunities for rent reduction in exchange for pet care help.
Room may be partially furnished or completely unfurnished.
House has central air, tile and wood floors (no carpet,) laundry room with W/D, large kitchen, DW, TV, high speed Internet, driveway parking, fenced yard with dog run, patio, BBQ grill, and gas fire pit. Small storage area for bicycle or other small items.
Housemate will enjoy use of entire house and subdivision amenities like pool and jacuzzis, basketball court, sand volleyball, handball, picnic areas, and local trails. Monthly bills will be split. I would prefer someone who is also in the entertainment or other creative industry, as schedules vary widely from “standard” work hours, but not a necessity. Graduate or PhD students also accepted.
Small pets (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.) are fine, but dogs and /or cats are negotiable on a case-by-case basis, as they must get along with my dogs and cat, and be quiet and respectful of neighbors during quiet hours. No outdoor-only pets. Refundable pet deposit will vary.
