The house is wide and has sitting room, dining room, kitchen, utility room and the bedroom with ensuite bathroom to rent on ground floor. Owner of house sleeps upstairs and there are 3 further bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. Ideally the person renting will have their own car as there are only a couple of buses per day from here. It is 5 minutes in a car to Amersham from where there are good links on Metropolitan line to London and also a train service to Marylebone (25 minutes). The lady who owns the house is elderly but fit and well and has someone coming in every day to help with chores and cleaning. She will be easy-going and would like a friendly person to rent the room. The person who rents can come and go as they please…either work from home or go to work every day. The room is pretty and very quiet with a lovely view of the large garden and field beyond . The village is a traditional English village with pub and village pond and good walks around the area.
