Our lovely housemate found her ‘happily ever after’ and is moving out of our house, so we are looking for someone to make our home complete again.
It’s a charming house with a lot of character, the landlord has decided they will complete a few upgrades by the end of the year (such as double glazed windows, and a firmer back-gate).
There is a spacious airy kitchen (we got new fridge and washing machine last year) and a loveley living room, bathroom with shower and bath and outside a gardenshed with some storage.
The house also comes with a wonderful south-facing garden for spring/summer bbq or breakfasts. And if you have a green thumb and enjoy gardening, it’s a great place to unwind.
You’d be living with two lovely and reliable European people in their 40-50s. We are looking for someone who is also reliable and considerate and perhaps fancies a chat with a coffee or tea and join some deep conversations, or some banter. As we are creatives, there’s always something to talk about, be it movies, music, history or literature. We have of course also times where we retreat to our rooms rather, but lets see how dynamic evolves with our new housemate. I would say all in all we are very friendly and kind. We wish to continue to share a harmonious, clean and tidy home, so would prefer someone who is mindful and respects the common space.
The room is a carpeted double room with a big window facing a quiet street, with built in storage shelves and an attractive alcove to personalise. One of the walls is dark green, but I’m sure the landlord would be open to it being painted if that’s not up your street. It’s never cold and very relaxing.
Its a pretty quiet family area with 4 min walk to the busses which run 24hrs and are well connected. All convenient stores plus a big tescos are in easy walking distance.
Practicals:rent 724£ without bills, bills comes to around 150£ plus 100£ CouncilTax
And as you will be on the joint contract, there will be a credit check by the landlord.
