I’ve got a lovely en-suite double room available in a peaceful, modern house and I’m looking for the right person to enjoy it. If you’re after a calm, friendly space with lots of privacy and great access to the city, this might be just what you’re looking for.
The room feels more like your own little apartment than just a bedroom, it has its own private entrance via French doors that open out onto a quiet garden. You can come and go as you please with your own door.
About the Room & Home:
This room is bright, comfortable and well set up, whether you’re a busy professional or just value having a bit of peace and independence. Here’s what’s included:
Private garden entrance through French doors (your own separate access to the house)
Modern en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet
Optional kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, etc. (I can remove this if you’d prefer to use the main kitchen)
Full access to the main kitchen through an internal hallway
Satellite TV and Wi-Fi
Brand new divan double bed with a super comfy mattress
Heater, fan, desk, and chair — cosy in winter, cool in summer
Built-in wardrobes and drawers — loads of storage
Bedding and towels included if you need them
You’ll also have access to a lovely shared living room, although it’s rarely used — my current flatmate tends to work on her computer in her room, and I’m away most of the year, so you’ll often feel like you have the house to yourself.
Who You’d Be Living With:
One lovely female professional in her 30s — really friendly and respectful
Me (the owner), but I live and work from my other house and only visit for 1–2 weeks every 3–5 months — so most of the time, you’ll just be sharing with one other
The Area:
The house is in a semi-new build development that’s quiet, green, and super friendly — a proper little community feel. You’re just a short walk from everything you might need:
Gorgeous riverside walks and cycling paths (20 mins into the city by bike)
Local parks and peaceful green spaces for relaxing
Shops, supermarkets, Costa Coffee, restaurants, and even a Weatherspoons — all within 5–7 minutes on foot
Only 2 mins to the nearest bus stop
10–15 min walk to three different train stations — you can be in Glasgow City Centre in just 10 mins once you’re on the train (roughly 25 mins door-to-door)

Plenty of free on-street parking, plus one shared driveway space
WIFI and broadband, TV subscriptions — all included
Several outdoor sheds for extra storage (perfect for bikes, boxes, or anything you don’t want cluttering up your space)

This really is a home, not just a rental — and I’d love to find someone who’ll treat it the same way.
A Few Final Bits:
Minimum stay is 10 months (but I might consider a shorter June–July let if I haven’t found the right person yet)
