Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m single mother to two well-behaved children (8 and 12) who are with me for 3-4 nights a week.
My property has three bedrooms – my children share one of these, I have one, and the other is the room which is up for rent.
I’m looking for a lodger on an ongoing basis for my small spare room. The room has a raised (mid height loft) single bed in it and an empty 4×4 Ikea Kallax clothing storage unit underneath for some clothing storage. A cupboard will be provided for you food storage, happy to share items like milk, tea, coffee etc.
The photo of the room shows a few children’s items which will all be removed 🙂
There is space in the entrance lobby and the living room if you wished to set up a small desk.
The lodger will have full access to the living room, patio, kitchen, bathroom, hallway etc.
The room is small (reflected in cheap all-inclusive price) but is perhaps ideal for someone who spends time elsewhere for part of the week or works away now and again or who travels light or is looking for somewhere short term until they settle in Bristol etc.
We are a chilled, friendly household and have two cats.
There is on road parking space outside and so much green space (Lockleaze/Purdown) directly behind the property.
All bills and internet are included in monthly rental price.
Local bus service – number 24 bus stop 2 mins walk. Easy access to most of city, university campuses etc. 45 min walk/15-20 min cycle ride from city centre. Close commute to Glenside and Frenchay UWE.
One months notice will be given either way if either myself or the lodger is unhappy with the arrangement 🙂

Minimum stay – 1 month. 1 month’s rent deposit to be paid upfront, returnable when you move out.
Rent to be paid at the start of the month for the month ahead (rent in advance).
