This is a large fully furnished double bedroom with two windows, it is light and airy with views over the large rear garden. There is a lot of storage space, including a wardrobe and drawers, a chair, a double bed, also a desk and chair can be purchased if you require it.
I’d also consider people who only need a weekday place and want to negotiate different rates.
All bills including fast fibre broadband are included, and you won’t need to purchase laundry liquid or other household items either; non-bio eco friendly products are all included. You’ll just require your own personal products, food etc.
Situated in a quiet part of Hertford, near County Hall, in a friendly neighbourhood, this home is both a short walk into town (15 minutes), an easy walk to both train stations (25 minutes) and has countryside right on the doorstep. The University of Hertfordshire is a 20-25 minute drive away, or accessible by bus.
I work full time and also study, so would prefer someone who also likes a quiet home and ideally isn’t nocturnal.
I am a vegetarian, so I’d prefer someone who is either a vegetarian or doesn’t cook with a lot of meat on a daily basis. It’s definitely not a deal breaker though.
The whole house has been renovated over the past two years; new kitchen and bathroom, full redecoration, so it is clean and fresh.
Complete shared access to the kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher, also gardens. Downstairs cloakroom toilet as well as the upstairs bathroom. There is unrestricted street parking.
Two friendly cats also live here.
Unfortunately I have an allergy to perfume, so would need someone who doesn’t use any perfumes or sprays in the house at all. The benefit is that I provide all the household cleaning products as they are perfume free! The person I shared with last year (pre-Covid-19) just took her perfume to work with her. The shower products weren’t an issue at all, just the sprays.
