Hello!
Great sized rooms, which easily fits a double bed and other furniture, available in shared house. Situated just off North Street in a chilled out area. Both rooms have just been decorated , so are in great condition.
The medium double room is on the first floor with my bedroom and the bathroom on a quiet street off North Street. The attic bedroom is above on it’s own floor.
Previous flatmates have moved to be with friends, hence why rooms are now available.
Our street is quiet, but a minute’s walk from the bustle of North Street’s pubs and restaurants (remember them? 🤔). It’s a 25 minute walk into the city centre or a 10/15 minute cycle. There are great bus links (24, 75/76) and the train station is near. An added bonus is the shuttle bus to the airport is nearby – holidays, made easy (well, when this pandemic is over, maybe 😂😷)
There are currently 2 rooms available (larger attic room also free), so you’ll be moving in with me! I’m Cat, 38 creative professional. My wild party days may be pretty much behind me, but I do like going out now and again, and having a tea and natter in the lounge.
I’m looking for 2 others of a similar age who are housetrained and knows how to tidy up after themselves. I aen’t ya mother 😉 Haha! I’m fun, respectful and easy going, and that’s all I ask for in return. Hoping to find two others in their 30’s male or female, who get on, sometimes socialise together and eat together, but we have our separate lives.
The room is unfurnished.
The house is really nice with a lounge with two sofas, a dining room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, small patio at the back with herb garden for your enjoyment, dishwasher and we even have a cleaner who comes every couple of weeks (currently me/us until cleaner can come back into house). That be fancy!
There is bike parking in the house and free parking on the street outside.
The rent was £446 + bills (should be around £104, but I’m currently getting new contracts), but the landlord has put it down to £395 with the pandemic, the rent will stay at this for at least next 6 months and if it increases it will do so gradually. He’ll require One month’s deposit, no agency fees. The landlord is a top bloke, and we all know how hard they are to find! This includes the cleaner, WiFi and my lovely house plants. Bargain!!
I’m looking for someone around the same age who is planning on staying at least 12 months, lease is 6, and is easy going. No couples, pets or smoking in the house. Also someone considerate of normal sleeping times for people working 9-to-5s, occasionally Saturdays. There is also a larger attic room available.
Lockdown: I am still following lockdown guidelines, as I have health conditions. I am currently only meeting friends in parks at 2 metres, using a mask when I shop. I need flatmates who are considerate & responsible, and will discuss things as the rules are relaxed further.
