Hello there, one of our housemates has moved back home due to the virus. The house has four bedrooms, a generous through kitchen living room and a lovely decked patio. We’re looking for a house trained professional ๐ to join us. At present there’s only two of us, but there’s another male who commutes in from Lisbon for about 2-3 days a week and has his own bedroom. He might come back in the autumn, when Covid-19 improves.
How it works: I pay all the bills inc. broadband and buy household consumables such as cleaning products and dishwasher tablets. A cleaner comes every two weeks to do everywhere except the actual bedrooms. Occasionally it might be your turn to take the rubbish out.
Other stuff: room in the freezer downstairs in the basement. Washing machine, fridge, micro/oven/grill, dishwasher, large range in the kitchen.
We: three professionals, 2 women and one man. We’re friendly and tidy up after ourselves (within reason).
Transport: Ravenscourt Park (District Line) 3 mins walk, Buses 190, 267, 391, H91 and 27 stop nearby. Hammersmith Station (Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith&City;Lines) plus tons more buses. Parking is almost always possible directly outside the door. You need a parking permit (12 months=ยฃ119). Bike can go in the garage.
The room: southeast facing, two windows double glazed, nearly new double bed with storage underneath (it lifts up), 5-door fitted wardrobe one end. Blackout blinds. Happy to provide other, or accommodate your own, furniture – as you need.
Bathroom: we share two bathrooms between the four bedrooms. They are both newly renovated. The one next to your room has a walk-in shower.
