Double room with private bathroom in a 2 bedroom furnished flat. The flat is situated just off Tower Bridge Road so an easy commute into the City, Canary Wharf or the West End- 10 minutes walk to Borough tube, 10-15 minutes walk to London Bridge and 5 minutes on the bus to Elephant and Castle. The flat is in the sort after Jam Factory complex, a landmark conversion development with 24 hour security, and has a large balcony looking towards the Shard. The flat is finished to a high standard with solid wooden flooring throughout.
Bermondsey Street is located less than 5 minutes away which is full of small shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and bars. There are several food markets In the area including Borough market and Maltby Street market. There is an independent cinema nearby as well as a gym 5 minutes walk away.
About me, I’m in my 40s, currently working at home as well as in the office. I’m looking for a friendly person. I don’t need a best friend but equally don’t want them to be strangers. Happy for my future flatmate to have any sexual orientation, lifestyle, or pets. No judgement here.
A fairly tidy person would be ideal (I have a cleaner who comes once a week- an extra £15 per person each week). It would be great if you are reasonably active to help my motivation levels (or at least increase my guilt).
I’m a great traveller or was before COVID (I was raised in the Middle East and Africa), and enjoy socialising with others (generally out but only because I can’t cook).
It’s a fabulous area to live, very central but the flat is extremely quiet with great transport links.
