ENJOY TIME TO YOURSELF:
During the pandemic and whilst we wait for many things to reopen, I will be away from the flat for most of the time so you will have it to yourself a fair amount, a custodian you might say; hopefully, that will be an advantage you can enjoy and will work well for both of us.
ABOUT:
This space would suit someone needing an interim between jobs/locations there’s pretty much everything here you need to live well, Inc linen & towels if needed, but not much extra storage! If you have more than a couple of suitcases then it might feel over-cramped.
If you’re looking for a ‘lighter’ commitment I have a second smaller bedroom that has a single bed available (can be extended to double). It’s a lovely, petite space with large drawers under the bed for storage. A great option if you’re wanting to do Mon-Fri perhaps or just find your feet for a month or two:)
A BIT MORE DETAIL:
My normal working life is in theatre so I’m definitely not a 9-5er, however, atm I’m active at similar times to most folks if/when I am home.
I’m keen gardener and, in an ideal world, would appreciate someone who could water a little, indoors & out.
I did a full renovation a couple of years ago & so it’s all in good shape, underfloor heating, good water flow, new boiler, dish washer, although I still can’t seem to decide on a carpet for the bedroom, so it’s rugs for the time being!
I’ve chosen what I think are beautiful materials (brass/Corian/brick), so I’d love some who would be able to appreciate and take care of it.
On Street Parking- free.
House is a Victorian terrace, each side is privately owned, above is rented. You do hear human noises/doors/footfall, so if you are particularly sensitive, perhaps it’s not for you;
OR, come and view to see for yourself.
Street is quiet, and has a primary school at the end of the road (I like the distant playground noise when I step outside)
AMENITIES:
Sainsbury’s hypermarket within 5mins walk, Inc petrol station, B&Q, Aldi, Currys, Faceface, Next.
Plus the high street has cafes, bank, Superdrug etc.
PARKS: Mayow & Crystal Palace all very accessible with cafes, tennis courts & reg. fitness groups.
TRAVEL:
Sydenham & Lower Sydenham station both 11mins.
London Bridge/Canada Water/Charing Cross or East Croydon for connecting to Gatwick & the South.
FINALLY, me:
I’m a creative who is tidy, likes to cook, entertain in the garden. Friends describe me as funny (although, clarification required).
Consider myself emotionally intelligent so able to speak with reasonable clarity and hopefully manage others needs as well as my own.
I’d love someone to enjoy this space as their home from home. Please get in touch if there are any more questions you’d like to ask. I have some flexibility so please don’t be shy if timelines etc don’t quite align… I look forward to hearing from you.
Kate ??
