Looking for a responsible, likeminded person to share my creative home in Forest Hill. You’ll get a big, newly decorated double room with built in wardrobe, comfy bed and a large chest of drawers, and a shared bathroom, kitchen, lounge and garden.
The property is a sweet and stylish terraced cottage with a sunny garden. It’s 5 mins walk to Forest Hill station, and all the cafes, bars and shops of the area; 3 mins walk to buses to Crystal Palace, Victoria, Lewisham. The Council Tax is Band D. In total, the council tax and bills – including super-fast broadband – come to about £330 a month and you would pay half of that in addition to the rent.
You’ll be sharing with Becca, the owner (proudly 62), a creative writing teacher and writer, and her young cat, Betty. You’ll need to be an animal lover with some experience of cats in case I’m away for a few days. I’d like a considerate and tidy lodger with similar interests to me – which currently include literature, music, good films, walking, swimming and learning Spanish. The rooms are all a good size, but at the same time the house is small enough that, for me at least, it is important we get on well – it is a home, after all! I’m a communicative person and like to chat. At the same time, of course, there would always be the option of privacy when required.
It may be better if you go out to work in the week, as I do some DJing and need to put my playlists together. I like to be able to play the music without headphones as I do so. So, if you’re working at home, that might be an issue.
Anyhow, any questions, please just get in touch. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
