Come and join our lovely three/four bed maisonette, just five minutes from Peckham Rye Park. Two of us moved in together in 2018 and our friend joined us in November. Sadly, one of us is purchasing a flat and moving out. It’s a lovely household – we enjoy cooking, baking and catching up. We are all Christians and attend local churches. We enjoy movie nights with a takeaway and hanging out together but pre Covid we all had busy social lives. The flat is really generous and based over three floors. We have a large lounge, an average kitchen, and an extra bedroom room which we use as storage/for laundry. There is a full bathroom with shower and bath, and toilet, plus an extra toilet on the first floor. Although we don’t have a garden we are five minutes from Peckham Rye Park, and within walking distance there is also Nunhead Cemetery, Brenchley Gardens, One Tree Hill, and Camberwell Old Cemetery. We are also ten minutes from the lovely shops of Lordship Lane and twenty five minutes from Peckham’s Rye Lane. The room is unfurnished but it’s a good size and very quiet. The road is also quiet, but really well located for buses – 197, 12, 363, 63, 176, 185, 40, plus within 20 minutes of East Dulwich and Peckham Rye stations. It’s such a lovely house with lovely housemates and the one moving out is sad to be leaving. The other two – one is a primary school teacher so has been commuting during the pandemic, and the other is an editor who usually works in the office in non Covid times.
