Hi, Im Maria, late forties, a full time carer, part time at Tesco and “the landlady”! My family consists of my foster adult (male, with very mild learning difficulties) who works part time and my parents who live next door. As a family we do all our main cooking at my parents house leaving our kitchen freely available.

I have two rooms let out for house share.

The property is a chalet bungalow with disabled access front and back. The room lets are at the front of the house with south facing bay windows and a hint of a sea view. We have superkingsize beds which can be split into full size single beds and a further pull out small single for occasional use. Excellent set up for visiting children. Other furniture can be available or removed on request. Bedroom floor is laminated. The bedroom is next to the main bathroom (walk in shower with seat, no bath) and there are two further toilets. All our toilets have built in bidet functions and sensor (no contact) flushes. We have an open kitchen / lounge with two 3 seater sofas, one of which is bed setee. The kitchen is fully equipt and a nice size whilst the lounge is smaller with sky TV. We have fibre broadband but no landline phone.
The washing machine and dryers are in the conservatory, where we also have the activities/dining table. The conservatory has underfloor heating and a solid roof so it is a usable room. The garden has a ramped patio area and shed.

We are situated in a lovely quiet road, with off road parking and great neighbours. Seaton is a beautiful town with direct public transport links to Exeter, Sidmouth, Axminster, Colyton and Lyme Regis. The nearest train station is Axminster which is on the mainline to Exeter and London. Our town boasts many independant shops and attractions including a pebble beach.

Within the house we have a relaxed atmosphere with cheerful banter, come and go as we please, visitors and family welcome (covid rules adherred to). As a household our interests include friends and family, dogs, swimming, walking, eating out, pubs, live music, art, motorbikes, pool, fishing and football. My preferred tenant will be working, friendly and happy to be seen as a role model to my impressionable foster adult.
