Ground floor double bedroom plus shared living room in spacious Victorian 2 bedroom terraced cottage with lovely garden and sea views. It’s about 15 minutes walk to Hastings Old Town and even closer to the East Hill and country park. Transport links to Hastings station and the Conquest Hospital are straightforward.
The room has great storage. It contains: small double bed with 6 drawers and new memory foam mattress, desk with drawers, office chair, big fold-out table, bookcase and pine wardrobe.
You’ll share the house with me – I’m late 50s, a somewhat introverted (though not bad humoured) female trying to write a book. I work in the mental health/charity sector.
I have my own living room/study upstairs so the house works well as two almost separate apartments with shared kitchen and bathroom, and there’s a loo downstairs too.
My perfect lodger is a calm, quiet, stable and focused professional with vegetarian tendencies, no major substance or alcohol issues, a profound aversion to mess/clutter/chaos/grime, and excellent personal hygiene. I look forward to hearing from you.
